Winkowski Samurai VX Skateboard Deck 10.35in x 30.54in

Description

The Santa Cruz Skateboards Winkowski Samurai Pro VX Shaped deck features new and improved VX TRI-X technology that is longer lasting and lighter than it's predecessor, guaranteeing more sessions, more time on board, and more fun! With metallic Winkowski Samurai artwork over silver foil on Erick's custom 10.35" shape with a 15" wheelbase and mellow Cruz Missle ll concave.

Cruz Missile ll concave is Santa Cruz's infamous tech concave from the 1980s with aggressive, multi-dimensional side to side concave and tail kick along with forward set rocker that comfortably lock in your feet in key areas for a completely unique riding experience - cruising the streets or skating transition on old school or shaped decks with longer tail than nose.

Santa Cruz Tri-X VX Skate Tech

Tri-X Technology

VX decks are thinner, stronger, and have more pop than standard 7 ply decks, featuring 5 plies of North American Maple and 2 layers of Tri-X technology.

What is Tri-X?

- Tri-X combines fiberglass and carbon fibre in a crosswise-connected composite structure, adding strength and rigidity to the deck.
- Two layers of Tri-X replace two of the traditional seven maple plies, with one layer positioned towards the top of the deck and one towards the bottom.
- The composite construction allows VX decks to have a thinner, lighter profile than a standard 7 ply deck, while Tri-X is lighter and more durable than Quad X.
- The fiberglass and carbon fibre reinforcement helps the deck resist snapping, breaking and chipping, particularly under heavy impacts and landings.
- The added rigidity helps the deck maintain its crisp, responsive feel and pop for longer than a standard maple construction.
