Following on from the Samurai deck artwork introduced in SU26, the Winkowski Hachi 8 Ball story continues the collaboration between Santa Cruz and Japanese graphic designer Makoto Yamaki. His work blends rich storytelling, detailed illustration and raw skate energy - see more at @makoyamaki.
The story continues into FA26 with the new Winkowski Samurai VX deck, bringing Makoto's distinctive artwork to Santa Cruz’s technical VX construction. Alongside the deck, the iconic 8 Ball graphic gets a fresh Japanese-inspired rework across heavyweight tees and hoodies.
Garment-dyed and washed for a vintage look and already worn feel, the apparel is designed to feel like a long-standing part of the Santa Cruz archive. A cord shirt with chest embroidery and branded metal buttons adds an easy layering piece, while socks and a matching belt complete the story.
